Our Story
VisionAiry Heating & Cooling was founded by David Daher, a hands-on HVAC expert with over 25 years of experience. David’s journey started in the Navy, followed by technical school and a seven-year stint with the first company he applied at as a freshly minted HVAC service technician.
On his first day on the job, he was accidentally sent out with the installation team—and he instantly knew this was his calling. From that moment, HVAC replacement became his passion.
In 2011, David launched his first company, Freedom Heating & Air Conditioning, growing it into a highly respected business with a dedicated team and earning recognition on the Best of 40 Under 40 list. But he wanted to do more than just replace HVAC systems—he wanted to transform how homeowners experience comfort.
He sold his company to a local competitor and worked with them for 3 years to improve and grow their reputation in the Minneapolis and St. Paul market.
In 2023, David decided it was time to go back out on his own to serve Twin Cities homeowners at a higher level by merging HVAC and Home Performance (Building Science). David and his wife, Andrea, founded VisionAiry Heating & Cooling with a commitment to smarter, more efficient home heating and cooling and a better customer experience.
As a small, local, and veteran-owned business, David personally handles every installation, ensuring a seamless, highly personalized experience. There are no call centers or confusing department transfers—just expert guidance from someone who truly cares about your home.
