Ventilation Systems

Good ventilation is key to a healthy, comfortable home! At Visionairy Heating & Cooling, we install high-quality ventilation systems that control moisture, get rid of odors, and improve indoor air quality throughout your entire home.

Trusted Ventilation Experts in Minneapolis & St Paul

Installing ventilation systems isn’t just about hooking up a fan. To do the job right, you need extensive ductwork expertise that most HVAC companies don’t have.

At Visionairy Heating & Cooling, we know ductwork. With over 20 years of experience, we don’t just install exhaust fans and range hoods. We ensure they’re properly sized, correctly routed, and well-insulated for optimal performance.

Why Good Ventilation Matters

Proper ventilation protects your home and your health. Without it, moisture builds up in bathrooms, odors linger in kitchens, and indoor air quality suffers. Over time, that can lead to mold, mildew, and structural damage.

A well-designed ventilation system:

  • Removes excess moisture
  • Prevents mold and mildew
  • Clears away odors and pollutants
  • Reduces health and safety risks
  • Keeps your home feeling fresh and clean

All-Electric Ducted Heat Pumps

Ducted heat pumps connect to your home’s air duct system. They deliver heated and cooled air to your living spaces through air vents, the same way a central furnace or air conditioner does, and have an electric resistance backup for extreme cold. If your house has an air duct system, a ducted heat pump is a great option for whole-home heating and cooling.

Ductless Heat Pumps

Mitsubishi ductless heat pumps (also called mini split heat pumps) work without air ducts. Instead, indoor air handlers (also called heads) are installed throughout your home and deliver heated/cooled air directly into the rooms or areas they’re installed in. Ductless heat pumps are perfect for houses that don’t have ductwork and for adding heat/AC to specific areas like a home office, addition, or finished basement.

Dual-Fuel Heat Pumps

A dual-fuel heat pump (also called a hybrid heat pump) combines a ducted heat pump with a furnace for backup heat in extreme cold. This is a great option if you want to install a heat pump but are worried about relying entirely on all-electric heating in winter. A dual-fuel system will use the heat pump for AC in the summer and for heat during moderately cold weather but automatically switch to the furnace when temperatures drop substantially.
